Mirambeena Regional Park is a large pocket of land stretching from the Hume Hwy all the way down to Georges Hall ( over 4km's). The park takes in Lake Gillawarna and has the Prospect Creek foreshore. The creek is still salt water and flows into the Georges River. There are lots of walk tracks, grass for picnics and wide open spaces. The Georges Hall end also has Toilets and children's play areas. Because the landscape is varied with foot bridges, water locations and grass areas it makes a good location for
wedding photos, strolls or family get togethers.
The Australia Day festival here attract thousands of people every year.
Please note: gates close for the night.
