Parramatta Park

More than 10 hot air  vibrantly coloured balloons taking  to the skies in Parramatta Park . It is a tradition that has lasted some 17 years, with spectators allowed the chance to ride in one of the colourful balloons from 6am. 

Early birds will be rewarded with free breakfast  (provided by WSFM)

Community Village 
approx 10am - 6pm
featuring community-based organisations and stalls selling crafts, home made foods, cakes, and preserves.

A key part of the Community Village will be the Australia Day broadcast by radio station 2GB from 6.00am until 6.00pm.

camel rides, story telling, animal farms, whip cracking and jumping castles.

Awards at Parramatta Riverside Theatre

 

Amphitheatre
As the evening approaches, the amphitheatre will come alive. The program will commence at 4.30pm with a diverse range of performances with many styles suitable for children, teenagers right through to adults with Channel 9's Richard Wilkins as Special Guest MC.

9.00pm
A spectacular 30 min fireworks and laser display will end the evening, lighting the sky with an array of colour that promises to captivate the audience.
