Dee Why RSL is the Major supporter of the Dee Why and Narrabeen
2002 Australia Day Breakfasts along with The Manly Daily.
Narrabeen Butchery "The Gold Medal Snagman" is also
a supporter of the 2002 Warringah Australia Day Celebrations.
2002 Warringah Australia Day Mile
Also for the first time ever Warringah Council will be introducing a
new event to its usual Australia Day Celebrations held at Dee Why Beach.
The Warringah Australia Day Mile for elite athletes will be held at
8:15am, on the 26th January 2002 on a specially designed road circuit adjacent to Dee Why Beach so come one and all to cheer on the
athletes.

Sundown Cinema
Another addition to the Dee Why Beach celebration is the open-air cinema. This is a free event, brought to you by Sundown Cinemas.
As this is the Year of the Outback, the program will include 'Blinky Bill' Cartoon followed by 'The Man Snowy River' which will be screening at
8:00pm and it is free for everyone.
