About Us
Then and Now
Leisure & Tourism Link started out with
an operator assisted phone information service in October 1998. Leisure & Tourism Link went on-line hosting Australia Day festivals
in January 1999. The first of many festivals which were hosted in 1999.
Leisure and Tourism Link has adopted
the rainbow colours in its logo to reflect our innovative and a fresh approach to
the concept we have brought to the "net" and customers.
The interactive map project (Virtual tour)
was introduced to provide visitors and local residents more information about the areas
our maps cover. The photos on the website are taken personally by our staff and are
intentionally selected to also promote areas not adequately featured in regional tourism
brochures.
Leisure & Tourism
Links business activities have turned towards heavily focusing on being a major
information provider for accommodation and conferences on the Internet by responding to e-mails received from around the
World.
Our service does not use auto feedback
responses. Leisure & Tourism Link staff responds to emails for a more
personal approach.
We recognise that not
all the world can read English and have currently embarked work upon our multilingual
project to encourage non-english speaking visitors to the website. Symbols have already
been used for people of all languages to navigate this site.
Leisure & Tourism
Link makes every effort to ensure its site is family friendly and stays family
friendly in terms of its content and services.
Leisure & Tourism Link offers
accommodation rates and conference quotes direct from venues and
does not increase or add a fee to the rates provided .
