7th March, 2000. Sydney Entertainment Centre

If Barbra Streisand's Concert was the best concert of the Millennium, Bryan Adams came a very close second...not far behind at all. Bryan has toured in Australia regularly over the last 20 years and not once has disappointed the crowds. His musical ability has made many state that there just can't be any better from a musician who's last released song hit was the best ever....guess what??? No sooner do we say that, Bryan churns out another hit.

Seems like this concert followed the same suit...... Just when you thought you enjoyed his visit in 1997 he came back in 2000 and blew his audience out of their seats. Bryan "came back to us" and "couldn't stop the thing we started", but sure finished the concert well after 2 hours with sheer energy. Adams and Band adorned in white on a white clad stage (Guitars, Drums, amps & speakers were white too) churned out a no frills rock 'n' roll concert for his ageless Australian fans.

Many favourites were sung and they ranged across the many albums he released over time. Bryan was able to perform a balanced act between the many ballads and rock songs he sings. A true enjoyment of a concert. It was amazing the amount of quality music that was achieved with just a 3 piece band like Bryan's. Keith Scott (lead) and Mickey Currie (drums) also need to be acknowledged for a great show.

Bryan had plucked a young girl from the audience to help him sing the "Baby when Your Gone" duet. A bubbly girl from the Liverpool suburb of Sydney called Daniella got the honours (with the aid of a Lyric sheet) and she was arguing with Bryan that she couldn't sing...she was just ecstatic to be there with Bryan and was up there to give him the numerous hugs and kisses that many in the audience would have died for....Daniella was right, she couldn't match Sporty Spice in the singing stakes, but did her best to liven up the party...you're a great sport Daniella.

On Ya Bryan. You're welcome back to Australia anytime we love you!!!!
